Tofu cat litter is typically made from soybeans. While soybeans are cheaper than peas, their fibers are coarser, resulting in lower odor absorption. Peas, on the other hand, have finer fibers, resulting in stronger odor absorption and deodorization capabilities. They also disintegrate faster when flushed down the toilet, reducing toilet clogs.
